It’s great to get to connect with you. We’ve been working on some really fun stuff lately, in between all the craziness of raising kids and coping with global-historical turmoil. Kenzi’s been experimenting with new recipes, upping her reply game on Twitter, and drawing X/100 sketches (aiming for quantity > quality). Ethan’s been running D&D games, theorizing about interaction ritual chains and expanded awareness, and writing copious amounts of original sci-fi/fantasy fiction.
There’s also a big ol’ backlog of creative work we’ve both made over the years that we’ve never quite known what to do with. Collaborative fiction, poetry, short stories, worldbuilding, literary criticism, philosophical ideas, board game prototypes, custom homebrew cards, browser games, handmade jewelry, recipes for all kinds of cuisines, ingredient lists, and occasions – the list really does go on and on.
You can think of this site as a combination blog slash portfolio for our family’s creative pursuits. It’s kind of like the coffee table in our living room: a place where we can gather around with friends and have fun showing off our latest creations.
